As she watches the weary yellows and reds Paint themselves across the sky A new story has begun Unseen by the eye Do the flyers on the wind simply flap and sing Or is it rather a sonnet they bring? The waves do not simply slap at the land But their wash tells a play, so wild and grand! She looks to the forest The green of the needles Do you see, it’s a dance! Is it time to go with out Will I let my light wink out What once was roaring is now cinders It’s funny how the bright flame dwindles All is ashen, all is burned For from this world I have been spurned Once the blazes filled the sky But these poor embers will soon die I cling to them I beg them no But this poor light Has lost its glow It looks to me I hear its cry Please no more Just let me die I cry and scream I beg, implore But this tiny light Can bear no more I hear it’s plea and loose my hand The embers fly across the land So slowly dying I smile at me My only thought? I’m finally free

I couldn’t find the words I know a lot of words I’m as clever as a fox But when I tried to write a poem for you My thoughts stayed in a box There is no writing on a page There is no word I’ve spoken That can tell you what you mean to me I think my mind is broken… The starlight in your eyes The sunshine in your smile Even using just these words Took me quite awhile You’re gorgeous as can be With quite the sassy wit I tried to find the words for this But these just can’t be it There’s so much I could say to you Like how you make me feel But I just can’t find the words to do it The writer̵

And as I see the flames Which come to take me away I will smile at the Reaper For I do not die this day

Like panes of shattered glass we fall broken on the floor Like Poe who quothed the raven we scream ‘Nevermore’ Our pain a massive cross which we are forced to bear With our tears we paid the price for the strength of our own care And so we ask ourselves as we are cut and bleed When you look to your broken mirror do you hate what you see?

Our armors once were shining But now with blood are stained Our metal time has tested With broken hearted pain Horses colored white Are not the ones we ride Before the coming darkness We stand to stem the tide Within our pain and sorrow We hope again to hear your laughter Even though we’re sure Our stories do not end With ‘Happily ever after.’

You stayed forever silent Screaming in your mind Who cared about your feelings With their eyes they were so blind Inside you scream and shout Your heart is torn asunder You simply want to cry Within the rain and thunder Begging to feel love Pleading to be wanted You never once belonged And so the world you haunted In the end it doesn't hurt Your heart will just stop mending Because the people like us We don't get happy endings

Tomorrows Stop Next times cease Yet I remain Eternal And so from the Ashes of a fallen World I shall craft a story My skin as canvas, blood as the ink The cold of the air fueling a never-ending song which has yet to be sung There are those who search forever for their purpose I was found within the blank pages a writer has not yet crafted Within the endings of stories which are not yet alive, the black of ink which has not yet stained a page I am the ideas,the inspiration, the songs and dances of those forgotten and those who have yet to be remembered A prophet, and Actor, an author, a poet, writings of the ones time has erased, the idea

You act upon the stage Your lines, your song, your dance You then recite the story Of drama and Romance You act upon the stage And every line you knew But the hardest role of all Is playing the part of you
